Burst of colour

I have painted this floral piece, from a childhood memory of a painting that was in our living room wall at my parents house. I moved house several times with my family, from one town to another in India. However, this painting was one of the constant belongings that was always hung on the wall of every living room we lived in. Reminiscing, it brings a sense of familiarity, warmth and a vibrant childhood. This one is my version of the weathered painting that still hangs in my parents living room.
